About ‘Just Passing Bye’
Just Passing Bye is a collection of musings - whether in the form of essays or short fiction - all serving as mirrors to what’s been going on in the world (both around me and inside my head). All snapshots of whatever fleeting thought comes through - one moment framed in a fictionalized 90s childhood short, then another in an essay on love & longing at an empty subway station.
It’ll be fun! And, maybe, it’ll hurt! (But both good things for the human condition, I think).
Subscribing & sharing
I can’t force you to subscribe, but I do hope that somewhere down the road you find one of my pieces helpful or beautiful or hideous - so much so that you’re compelled to share with a friend (or nemesis). I don’t know your life, but hopefully I can try to channel aspects of shared human experiences in the things I publish.
About the Writer
The writer is me, Ronald. Hi. I used to be a tech & business reporter before I transitioned into content & product marketing for BigTech. I’m currently a senior editor at The Chronicle of Higher Education where I head up the Brand Studio.
Just Passing Bye is an experiment on how my imperfect writings resonate with an audience.
